The R5 CA is the new flagship model for Cervelo, but we all know that they are financially out of reach for most. The R5 is the same technology, but massed produced in China not made by the Cervelo tech heads in California. For a saving of 100g or so, is the R5 CA worth the $$? Who knows. ..
Seriously, we all know that they are the best road frames that you can get. .. Well, now they are better.
Cannondale developed BB30, Cervelo made it better. BB Right uses the spare room on the non drive side of the bike to make the BB wider and stiffer by allowing the use of more carbon. Add in a tapered head tube and the best bike in the world just got better again!
